The stress of finding a board pt!!

I am freaking out, so worried. I have no clue where I am going to find someone. Hopefully god will be with me:)

VA

Today we were down at the VA. IT went well saw some class IV. I like being down there I just hate getting up so early!!

Back to the grind!

First day back in clinic. I can't believe it is the last semester. I found a mockboard pt so that makes me super happy!! Hopefully the semester will go by fast:)

Last day of clinic...

I cant believe today is the last day. Time sure does fly when your having fun. Cole was sweet enough to come in and let me pass off some pes on him. It was fun. He was such a sweetheart and brought me flowers to school for my birthday. I love him so much.

This morning I saw my friends little Boy. He is so stinkin cute. What an angel he was for me. I seriously think he is better than some adults. I finished him so fast. I should of scheduled a screening or something

What?...you have never had a cleaning???

Today I had a patient who has never had a cleaning in her life. Her calculus was so tenacious. She was 4 quads of a 3. I got 1 quad done and she is coming back in 2 weeks.

VA day

I just need to vent for a minute!! What the hell is up with the xrays at the VA?? I serioulsy HATE them. I cannot take a good film to save my life. I dont get it. But I do love my VA instructor!!! She is awesome. I have learned alot of tricks from her.

Husband and Wife

Today I saw a very nice couple. They were both class 5. I did pass off one of my exams. It went really well. They just got back from a 3 week cruise in Europe...so jealous!

Today my sis came in for me. She was a life saver. She was a trooper and let me pass off the worst pe on her...Air powder polish!

My mockboard came back...

I was a little nervous for her to come back...but more excited to rock her calculus!!! It went really good. I only missed 2 spots. A little better than 7:)

WHAT A BUST!!!

So today was mockboards....and it went horrible. I missed so many spots and I even had some probing errors. I feel like such a failure. But on the plus side I gave my first 4 injections!!! It went pretty good. I was a little nervous but Kami helped me through it!!!!

GREAT DAY!!

This morning I found my mockboard. She has SO much calculus. I am super nervous to clean her for mockboards because I won't be able to clean any quads because I need both of them to qualify. Her mom had her maxillary teeth pulled when she was 18 because she thought it was too much money to maintain. SO SAD!!

1A

This afternoon I saw and little boy. He was so cute and polite. He even said thank you at the end!!! It was sad because he had a lot of decay. I spent a lot of time on OHI and he seamed really interested. Hopefully it will help him.

Husband day!!!

Today my husband came in for a cleaning because my patient cancelled last minute. He builds so much calculus. At first we classified him as a 1B but after cleaning him we changed it to a 2. He didn't really have a bone loss but for sure has the deposit!! I think working on your family is the worst!!

VA-Hard patient!!!

This morning at the VA I had a patient with 5 teeth and the rest on the mandible were broke off at the gum line. He was very sick and in alot of pain. I had a really hard time fulcruming. Connie was great at showing me some new ways!!!

Great experience

Today was very good. I had a patient come in that I saw in April, I thought he was going to be a 5 buy he turned out being a class III!!! Best thing every. This afternoon I has my class II with braces come back.....it went so much better than last time! Another tiring day.

1st day of clinic

Today was the first day back seeing patients, My morning patient was difficult. She had braces and was a class II. I thought my arm was going to fall offf:) I couldn't find a patient for the afternoon so my wonderful grandma came in...what a trooper!!! By the end of the day I was spent!!!!

Class III finished!!!

Today has to be the best feeling!!! I finally finished my requirements! My patients today was so tough. Thanks to Angie I finished his quad. My arm felt like it was going to fall off! Hopefully I will get really strong muscles and they wont get as sore!!!

Another class III

thanks goodness I have amazing classmates! Abby was so kind and gave me 3 quads of a III but I ended up only needing 2...I was really nervous about her actually showing up. Nick had to explain to her how important it was for her health and for us a students! She ended up showing up thanks god!!!

1st CLASS III

I finally found a class III thanks to a senior not being able to finish him due to scheduling! I was so excited! He was really hard for me to clean. It is crazy how tenacious calculus can be. I have one quad left on him and I am so excited to finish him up!
